FAQs
A: The Regular model will fit a mix of approximately 5-7 acoustic and electric cases. The Grande model will fit a mix of approximately 7-9 acoustic and electric cases. But if you have only acoustic cases, or you have some gig bags with side pockets that jut out, the capacity may be lessened. To maximize the storage capacity, you could remove the dowels/separators to gain approximately 7 inches additional storage space. The best way to determine how many cases will fit is to measure all your cases side-by-side. The Regular model will fit a total width of 36 inches. The Grande will fit a total width of 47.5 inches.
A: Cases for Gibson Firebirds and Explorers should fit without a problem. Flying Vs should fit if one of the sides and the bottom of the case form a right angle. While not designed for it, Flying V cases with a wedge-shaped bottom may be able to be positioned to sit in the rack but it is not guaranteed.
A: Because the cases need to lean, you will need a few inches of clearance. In general we suggest you leave approximately 6 inches of space between the rack and your wall but it can vary somewhat depending on your models of cases.
A: When placed on the racks, cases sit approximately 3 inches above the floor.
A: The side pieces are made of real wood veneer over an MDF wood core, with herringbone inlay along the edges. The four support rails are solid hardwood. If you’d like shop for other wood options, checkout our entire catalog of American-Made wood guitar stands.
A: Yes it will. The Studio Deluxe models have an additional support rail that will allow the rack to hold a variety of mandolin and ukulele cases in addition to guitar cases.

RE: MISSING PARTS - If a product arrives and parts are missing, please email us within the first 15 days of your delivery date. We will ship your replacement parts within 5 business days of receiving your message.
RE: DAMAGED RETURNS - If a product arrives damaged, please email us photos (required) of the damaged component and the box in which it was shipped and notify us immediately (i.e., within the first 15 days of your delivery date). We will ship to you replacement(s) for the damaged part(s) and issue a return shipping label for the damaged parts (if we require the damaged parts to be returned).
RE: NON-DAMAGED RETURNS - We take pride in our craftsmanship, but if you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it for a full refund (minus the initial shipping cost and return shipping cost). The rack is easy to assemble and looks great, but the bottom bows under the weight of guitars. I’m going to add three wooden legs under the front horizontal beam on which the guitars rest to prevent the bending. If using the wheel kit, I imagine rolling the unit loaded while on a carpet could loosen up the knock-down furniture joints, so I would consider beefing up the joints, for example with connector bolts and steel cross dowels, or rolling the unit around only after taking the guitars out.

I purchased the Studio Deluxe Guitar Case Storage Rack. This is the perfect product for my needs. I prefer to keep my guitars in their case and I need a place to keep my cases anyway. This makes it easier for me to just grab the guitar I want and start playing. The wood quality is great. I opted for the magahony sides upgrade. The mahogany looks very nice, but the standard Oak looks so nice, I’m not sure I needed the upgrade. The only thing I don’t really like is the use of plastic to hold the bolts/screws. I’m sure it’s fine, but I would have liked to see metal on metal. The plastic just seems a little cheap and more fragile compared to the otherwise high quality woods. If you think you may need a bigger size, you should probably get the bigger size. That way when you want to buy a new guitar, you can tell your wife that you need to fill in the empty space.

You are going to be tempted to pull out the Jig Saw and make one of these yourself, lets say Teak. Well the wood would cost this much. I have mostly flat tops so my only thang would be one guitar larger, I have the 7-9, it fits 5 flat tops and 2 electrics, in cases. If you have mor than 10 grand in guitars just go for it, fits my Olson just fine. (sorry for the brag can’t help it

I love the rack, it is very beautiful. I bought the most expensive one, the Studio Deluxe, but when I ordered the castors so the rack will be easier to move, the holes where not predrilled. Yes you sent a template for drilling. For as much as this stand was, it would have been nice for the predrilled holes. I don’t have a precision machine driller like your shop. It would have been nice to have the holes professionally done. I still don’t have the castors on due to this problem.

The reason the holes are not pre-drilled is that those customers who do not want the wheel assembly would be forced to have visible holes in their racks. The procedure is fairly simple but if you are not able to do it yourself or have someone help you, we can work out a return for credit. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience.
